Since it’s opening over 26 years ago, SSPADS (South Suburban Public Action to Deliver Shelter) has served more than 15,000 men, women and children and provided more than 500,000 shelter nights. Many of those same congregations are still our partners today. In addition to emergency shelter, SSPADS provides permanent supportive housing units, of which 77 are located in our Country Club Hills Wellness Center, constructed in 2012.
